We understand that our current generation of team members (read Millennials or Gen Z crowd) need to remain sufficiently motivated. Such an impetus helps them to feel that they are adding value to the company.

At TEG Analytics, people from various cultures, customs, and traditions come together to power up our competitive edge. A majority of our team are the young millennials, but if we consider the “young at heart”, that will be roughly 100% of our workforce! This unique office DNA helps us have a corporate environment that is unique, fresh, and fun at all times.
Our genies are a part of a blend of brilliant souls from all types of backgrounds. They come together to take part in various initiatives and events. Be it volunteering work, open channel discussions with senior leadership, employee development programs, or CSR activities, a lot is going on to keep the team members motivated and look for many reasons to come to the office every day (or shall we say, ‘To log in to their virtual office!’ in the present context!)

Make no mistake- life at TEG Analytics is a lot of hard and smart work. Challenges do come to us. But our competitive and ‘never-say-die’ spirit helps us conquer these and deliver phenomenal solutions to our clients.
But in the midst of our work, we make sure to remain perked up at all times. “Work Hard, Play Hard” is a core value that TEG believes in. So we have different types of fun activities each week to keep us going. We also have monthly meetings, where the whole org comes together to have fun and discuss business updates.

Yes, you read it right. We want our employees to bring out their entrepreneurial spirit. They are encouraged to be responsible for their own actions rather than someone micromanaging each and every step. This approach stems from our belief that such freedom at the workplace fosters innovation and ‘out of the box’ thinking among our employees.
Another example of how we inspire the free-flowing entrepreneurial spirit is the flexible working hours they can do at the office. There is no fixed ‘time in’ or ‘time out’ like the older days. If they need to log in late in the afternoon after completing their college or have a doctor’s appointment in the evening and want to log in early, they can do so. They can complete the work when they have access to a system and can still have a healthy work-life balance.
Our genies get the facility to self-nominate themselves for promotions. This action is done with the belief that they will take cognizance of their effort and the immense value it brings as a result. If they feel this deserves a promotion, then they can definitely do a self-nomination for the same.
5 – Timely Recognition
At TEG, we strongly feel that timely recognition is the key to enhanced employee satisfaction. That is why our respected genies don’t have to wait for the annual awards function to be felicitated for their efforts and ‘out of the box’ thinking to solve a problem at hand. Their quick thinking and total dedication to their craft help them stand apart like a beacon.
And we aim to showcase such standout performances to a broader section of our company. For this reason, we give out Spot Awards every month to celebrate the immense commitment of the genies to their work that resulted in stellar outcomes.
6 – Ongoing learning and development
Learning and development is a core aspect of a motivated workforce. TEG believes in this mantra. This is why we encourage our genies to stimulate their grey matter and take up new courses and programs aimed at improving their skillset.
It also allows them to contribute in different ways to the company’s success. They are exposed to various training and self-learning modules which they can access at their own pace and timing they are comfortable with.
At TEG, it is common to see creative brain juices flowing with thoughts and ideas at targeted events, to help them expand their horizon and see beyond the current scope of knowledge. These include initiatives like hackathons and developing case studies on recent success stories on a specific project. After all, when they grow, we grow.
7 – Align with the new normal
The current pandemic has taught us many important lessons. And one such lesson is that we should never be hesitant to embrace change. The entire way of working for an employee has changed with the lockdowns and social distancing norms in place.
Many of our colleagues are working from home. They are trying their best to be as efficient as they were in the office space. We, too, try to help elevate the level of efficiency without compromising on a comfortable way of working in the new normal.
We conduct ‘one-on-one Sessions’ with our genies. This way, if they have any queries or concerns in the new WFH model, we can address them and try to arrive at an amicable resolution. As a result, our genies know how to be at their best in the new working environment without giving up on their work-life balance or their mental wellness.
Many people may be stressed out with the huge change to working behaviour that followed the onset of the pandemic. At TEG, we aim to remove the stress altogether and help our genies to cope with the current situation. With such concrete steps, they can banish the negative impact of stress and focus on their jobs better.
